Ok peeps...so after many emails and phone calls i'm starting up this blog thing. Basically it's all about the crazy shite going around Geelong...what bands are rockin my world and yours, and i'm sure tales of drunkin exploits too. Do people actually give a shite??? I'm guessing not...but we'll soon find out. Feel free to plug your band, your self or your mum on here too! ;D So lets begin... Aussie Day long weekend.....i can't remember alot...but the bits i do...wowzers! Saturday night was huge!!! Checked out my mates Juke Kartel at the Barwon Club...and seriously...they were SENSATIONAL!!! Supported by Sydney band Stone Parade (another great band who kept that sweet rock flowing nicely) AND a very special mention to local band MODEN LEGION....so much energy, so much pressence...so what i needed to kick the night off with! If anything else..Stef is a hottie..go check em out www.myspace.com/196146888 Australia Day was all about recovery..no Big Day Out action for me this year....just BBQ, beers and good times. So, that's all i can be stuffed writing, and you can be stuffed reading...so be great for you to reply.....enjoy the bloody hot weather....indoors. Gordie

If ya wanna check out a good cover band try KIKIT they play at most of the local pubs: like Eureka, Irish Murphys, Max, Barwon Heads etc and soon doing gigs in Tasmania

I was at the Nash last Thurs and APROCESSOF really did kick arse. 2 dudes down the front were going nuts and the band loved it. Would be good to see them in Geelong again, and hear em on the air. Be great for brekky radio.. Wake up G Town!!!

NEW BLOG ENTRY FROM GORDIE (Finally!) Ok...firstly - apologies for the lack of enteries...i didn't realise how much i couldn't actually be stuffed doing this. But i will soldier on. So..what a week! Tues night I was hosting an O Week party at Deakin Watersfront Campus, which went off. 1000 uni kids playing limbo and partying in their beach gear....was wicked. Taught those kids a few tips on how to drink,,teehehehe Wednesday we broadcast live at Deakin Uni Warn Ponds, and I bought Bob Evans and End of Fashion with me to help out with all things music. Went well - pitty about the shit weather. Thirsday night - K-Rock's listener party! Ok...after Matt and Daz doing all the jibber-jabber, nothing really left for me to say except..."i've drunks lots..." man...i looked like a dick! Next time i'll speak first! After watching Emma Hewitt sing her heart out....i stop by the Nash to check out British India....man...that band is rad to the power of sick! So very tired by the end of the week...wedding on sat...bed rest for the remainder. Good times. Hey by the way - Mid-day four-play has started up...make sure you get your OWN bit of fourplay on the Rock...getting some great ones in the pipeline so far. As you were soldiers! Gordie
